Old Testament Timeline Activity [Download]
This is a digital download.
It’s really not surprising that teens (and probably some adults) don’t know the stories of the Bible in chronological order. We teach Bible stories all the time, all out of “order,” often with good reasons.
But there comes a time in every teen’s life (and maybe in adult lives, too) when you have to FINALLY put all the stories back in order, for the sake of really understanding.
In this simple, downloadable, timeline activity, you receive printable cards for 30 events of the Bible. Print the right number of sets, cut them and shuffle. Then set teams to work putting them back in the right order.
Watch the gears clicking as everyone shares what they DO KNOW and reveals what they DON’T and the timeline of the Old Testament falls into place.
Note: They are in order according to the best research I could do, so you may disagree with me on a card or two.
