10 Things I Can't Live Without (52 Weeks)

I can't live without...

1. My God, the wonder-worker
Like I said in the "Who Am I?" post... God makes ridiculously amazing things happen in my life regularly.

2. My husband the cheerleader
Since I am highly insecure and in need of constant encouragement, only Abouna can keep my head above water. He is for me the example of how divine love looks in the practical realms of everyday life.

3. My daughter and her incredible memory
Where are my keys? What am I supposed to do that I forgot? Where's that thing again? Is it a right or a left turn here? I know moms are supposed to be the all-knowing ones, but with a kid like mine, who needs reminder apps?

4. My father of confession
Having waited a long time to finally have a good FOC relationship, I am never going back! I am honestly never so relieved as when I sit with him. He's incredibly positive and gentle, as though "Handle with Care" is written on my forehead, lol...

5. An occasional cup of tea & reading material
My mother used to be a heavy tea drinker... Two to three cups of black tea every day. While I might get a cup every other day, I don't think I can downplay what a difference it makes. Add a good article or book? Instant therapy.

6. Family/friend support in times of joy and times of crisis, real or perceived
7. A camera... so I can play artist
8. A journal + pen
9. Hulu & Couchtuner... how else can I turn off my brain when needed?
10. My car... because you can't get anywhere in this city on foot (unlike my hometown)
