Holy Week Mobile Lock Screens
We are just seven days away from the beginning of Holy Week. Every prayer, every fast, every good work since the beginning of Lent has been building up to the blessings of Pascha.
I wanted to share with you not one, not two, but THREE new lock screens for Holy Week (and point you again to the one from last year). I tried to encapsulate different perspectives, different prayers you might need depending on your season in life.
Instructions: Click each thumbnail to open to full-size, save, and then set as wallpaper lock screen. I prefer to turn off perspective shift for a better fit, but try it both ways and see what you like.

In a recent servants' meeting, we talked about the physiology behind the crucifixion--the agony of Christ's Passion and how it reveals the depth of His great love for us. Though He was in pain, His desire was our healing from sin and from our fallen state. He sacrificed Himself to restore us to the image of God and the glory of being in His likeness.

One of my favorite hymns of Holy Week is in the 6th Hour of Good Friday when we chant, "Remember me, O Lord, when You come into Your Kingdom!" Carry the spirit of that hymn with you all week with this lock screen.
Holy Week Mobile Lock Screen #3
When you have children, you aren't supposed to have favorites. Good thing this doesn't apply to inanimate creations. This is, for sure, my personal favorite lock screen. Something about the pairing of the color and the message really resonates with me.There have been years where I was going through hard and painful times and to remember that Christ Himself prayed, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will" (Matthew 26:39) was succor and encouragement.I know many of you are struggling with the impossible: a cancer diagnosis, ongoing treatment for illness, clinical depression, losing a child, ending a relationship, changing careers, a big move--and so on. But Christ reminds us that with the grace of God, even the most discouraging of times can be a source of blessing.

These two variations are from last year's lock screen. I wanted to use it to remind you how much God loves you. Remember that God isn't waiting for you to be perfect to love you, to give you of Himself. He already loves you. He's already given you the ultimate gift. He just needs you to turn towards Him.
Which lock screen do you like best? Don't forget to share this post on Facebook to inspire your friends as well!
Enjoy the lock screen and have a blessed Holy Week. I hope that you enjoy every moment, that you seek God in every moment.
